Hypertension is the #1 risk factor for heart disease, stroke, renal complications, and premature death. Usually, high blood pressure alone does not cause any symptoms. Fortunately, hypertension can be prevented and managed, by checking your blood pressure regularly, and through treatment.
Good news! Recently, we have received the renewed registration for the Finapres® NOVA from Health Canada! We would like to thank Finapres for your efforts in collaborating with MedTach to bring the highest quality and most innovative solutions to our Canadian clinicians and researchers over the years!

MedTach is pleased to announce that the TempTraq Continuous Body Temperature monitoring system is now registered with Health Canada and is available for clinical use. The TempTraq wireless patch provides the capability for remote temperature monitoring that is accurate and effective in early fever detection.
The TempTraq system can be integrated with existing EHR's and monitoring systems. Early Fever detection leads to better patient care. MedTach is pleased to announce an upcoming live webinar, organized by our partners at Finapres on POTS Join researchers from the University of Calgary for a deep dive into the hemodynamic effects of compression in individuals affected by Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Despite its relatively common presentation in the population POTS is a relatively misunderstood autonomic disease. Researchers and clinicians struggle to distinguish, diagnose and treat those affected by the condition. During this webinar, Dr. Satish Raj and Ms. Kate Bourne from the University of Calgary will briefly overview POTS, including diagnostic criteria, common symptoms and highlights from a large patient community survey. Following, they will then outline some of the non-pharmacological approaches to the management of the patient with POTS. Throughout this webinar there will be particular emphasis on recent data on the hemodynamic and symptomatic benefits of compression garments in the patients with POTS. Key learning objectives:

Caretaker Wireless Patient Monitor for Continuous “Beat by Beat” Blood Pressure and Vital Signs for Safely Distanced Remote Patient Monitoring is now available in Canada. The clearance authorizes MedTach to immediately begin sales throughout Canada to help clinicians safely monitor quarantine patients without ever entering the room, augment overburdened clinical resources, reduce the use of PPE, and enable safe “clinically distanced” monitoring.
